Great service, it was busy but workers were attentive and fast. A large selection and good fresh food!
Very very rude counter help and the Vesuvius dessert was not fresh. My husband had pistachio gelato that had little pistachio flavor. Not coming back!
Very unmemorable from a food standpoint. They have some nerve charging what they do. Staff aloof as heck. Slow service. Take your money and loved ones elsewhere.
This place should be ashamed for selling their "Taylor ham, egg & cheese" panini. Every person who ordered that "sandwich" opened it and had the same surprised/disgusted/offended look on their face. There were two incredibly thin slices of "pork roll" that were thinner than a slice of prosciutto. The egg was a microwaved version of scrambled eggs. Very disappointing. How can you serve this to people with a straight face? Especially embarrassing considering this location is in a prominent Jersey shore area where guests are paying premium $. For non-NJ people looking to try an authentic Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich, do not come here. Find a diner or deli who's honest enough to give you a decent sandwich. Ps. This is not about money. This is about having integrity in the services you provide consumers.
I was helping my girlfriend with her wheelchair and since she wanted to stand with her cane at the counter I was trying to help her and it was a bit stressful due to my fearing that she may fall. It was her "belated birthday" and she had a small cup of joe (basic) and a piece of crumb cake and I had a bottle of juice. I signed the credit card receipt WITHOUT my readers and completely forgot to add a tip. They pointed for us the location to "fix" the coffee (since they do not do this) and to get napkins and utensils. This is not a dining facility where one is served at their table. Right in front of me the young man behind the counter threw a coin into the tip jar and told the girl behind the counter "that is for you!" I did not realize until afterwards that this was because I did not throw money into the jar or add to the receipt; I was too busy trying to make sure my girlfriend was okay with her cane and fixing her coffee and bringing it with her cake to the table for her and moving her chair so that she would not trip. I was in shock that the young man was mocking me and the girl was laughing with him! I was going to go back up and apologize and put a tip in the jar but then realized that they did not deserve an apology, nor did they deserve a tip; in retrospect I am embarrassed FOR THEM! When we left this completely empty establishment there was no, "Thank you, come again!" We will never ever return here and will return to Turning Point. Unfortunately (often) businesses that rely primarily on tourist traffic feel no need to provide respectful and pleasant service. Corner Cafe's employees exemplify this.
