We would like to thank Barbara and the staff of Hoffman's Funeral Home for their professionalism and personal touch they added to our loved ones service. Barbara was flexible in accommodating our needs during this dark period in our lives. Their willingness to go the extra mile helped us deal with our loss.
Last Spring, when a relative died, I found the professionalism of this company to be severely lacking. The staff and owners were so rude, and for a funeral home! I couldn't believe it. This was a horrid experience which greater pained my grief.
I was extremely disgusted by the unprofessional, lack of empathy and lack of compassion I experienced with Barbara Hoffman. I was asked to sign paperwork to consent to cremation for a parent that was never in my life along with his children that were never in my life. I was pressured by Barbara Hoffman to sign paperwork that I didn't agree with. She literally told me in a sarcastic manner "I can't keep begging you", and proceeded to attempt to guilt me into signing by saying I would be holding up his family's plan for services on Sat which was the first I was even hearing there was a service on Sat. She then stated "I can't do this job anymore". Well Barbara, you probably shouldn't. Between her and the deceased family putting a tremendous amount of pressure on me, I signed paperwork against my better judgement and pretty much amounts to duress. I would never recommend this funeral home. Not sure how long she's been in business but I think its time to give up.
