The office staff is very nice; I would give five stars for the office staff. I was seen by a female doctor. I explained that I had a breast biopsy scheduled in 3 days+was overwhelmed/scattered. I apologized several times because I thought maybe I was talking too much because she appeared to be annoyed. When I said I was concerned I might have thyroid issues she snapped at me, "YOU SHOULD HAVE STARTED WITH THAT!!" I stayed strong and did not cry (did sniffle though) and she looked at me in a confused manner, indicative of someone who is clueless as to their level of rudeness and lack of compassion. My sniffle was not necessarily for myself but for the countless patients who have gone to her in a state similar to mine, scared and nervous, and were treated as though their having mentioned a scheduled breast biopsy was the equivalent to a vacation day.
This has been the worst dentist experience of my life. I had to return several times to have a root canal, each time the poorly trained resident did not administer enough Novocain - unbelievable & agonizing. After my third visit, the resident tells me she cannot complete the procedure & schedules me with (I hope) a more qualified periodontist. An hour before this appointment, they call and cancel! They can't see me until at least September. 5 months walking around with a gaping hole in my tooth? The "receptionists" are the most unreceptive, rude, and condescending people I've ever encountered. All around a deplorable experience.
Do yourself a favor - find any other dentist.
Worst they never answer the phone and they never get back for the voice mails even for the sick apptmts also
Some of the staff are wonderful, caring people (e.g., Joy and Kris). That aside, the agency suffers from some serious disorganization on 2 counts for which I'm aware. Firstly, a number of the front staff cannot be trusted to know that you have an appointment or who's away from their desk versus on vacation. Four times in a row there was this problem. The second is that false promises and a lack of knowledge exists within the social work department. The ball was literally dropped in my case and prior, the 1 woman made what was literally aclick of a button for social services into a big fiasco. Despite what you may think, you're better going to social services first in Ocean. Avoid this place in that regard.
Horrible service. Every time I have a appt I am seen an hour late. People come in after me and they are seen first. I went here for 2 years pay a copay now. Im looking elsewhere for pediatrician. My daughter had an appt with Dr Reuter and I just walked out because she was waiting for going on 2 hours past the appt time. Im not going there ever again.
