When I was in the ER I felt very uncomfortable with the EKG. I realize that the technician is a professional (male) but after removing my bra and being completely exposed without any covering I felt odd. Perhaps this is protocol but I wished that I had a female providing the testing or at least for a female to be present. It was not as though they were rushing over to administer the test in a hurried manner; had this been the case maybe it would have felt like standard operating procedure to be sitting there completely exposed. I am unaware if covering one's self somehow with the gown is inappropriate as it may affect the test? Technicians from what I understand only need to have a high school diploma and a certificate of training to perform EKG's. It may seem insignificant but knowing that a medical professional has had an extensive education changes things a bit.

I absolutely hated this place. My dad went to this hospital to get neck surgery and the nurses in the waiting room were so rude. My dad gets a section separated by a curtain, don't mind that. But only one person could be with him at a time. And no one informed us of this. So I am just waiting and waiting to be called to see him before surgery. And when I go up to a nurse, inam left standing in front of them until I am shushed by one of them. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Finally I had to just go there and bluntly ask where my dad was.

Apt was for 7:15am in radiology. I was the 2nd patient, so no reason to be running late, but they were. Running 45 mins late to start. Registration was pleasant but ran late also. Running late has become common place everywhere, but i find it unacceptable. If i need to be at the hospital at a specific time, I show early. Why cant the rest of the doctoral world. Beinh late is unacceptable.. Still waiting. I have a life, a job and responsibities that all expect me to be accountable and timely why isn't the rest of the world held to the same standards. Lateness is ignorance.

Let me tell you something, I myself work in retail and hate leaving comments like this, because I deal with some rude ass people. But because of my experiences I try to be nice and respectful everywhere I go. And hope to be treated back with respect. Especially in a hospital where tensions are high. But never have I ever been disrespected so much. So I hope this helps you organization treat people with more respect.

Oh and let's talk about the surgeons who walk in late like celebrities. After my dad's surgery it took the man 3 days before he saw my dad again. And no one knew when he was coming back. My dad kept asking questions about the surgery, what positions they had him in, what actual material s were in his body, so they sent a nurse practitioner that worked with the surgeon who was not even in the operating room. And when she could not answer his questions she said to my dad "what does it matter?" Like those acutual words came out of her mouth. I witnessed it. And then told him to take anxiety medicine. Like he was crazy for asking too many questions.

Now let's talk about security. Each time I left they were nice enough to give me a parking pass. But the last time I was greated by a large man in a tailored suit. Because they told me to go to the head of security to ask, I go up to him and say "excuse me, I was wondering if I could have a parking pass" only to be met by "OH YOU WAS WONDERING HUH?" you have to go to rehabilitation center to get it. Oha and when I left, a snarky comment of "I GUESS YOU NOT WONDERING ANYMORE" . Disrespectful is what they are.

I work for the State and one of my clients shared with me her nightmare. Her daughter was at this facility for 2 weeks and then transfer to a different hospital. When my client noticed that her daughter's clothes are no where to be found, she called Monmouth Medical Center and the person who answered the phone was rude and disrespectful, eventually she hanged up the phone on my client. It's been a month now and my client still doesn't know what happened with her daughter's clothes. I will get to the bottom of this because NOBODY deserves to be treated the way my client was. My client just came to USA couple months ago from Puerto Rico looking for a better treatment for her daughter and this is what she has to deal with? All she is asking is for her belongings and the hospital is responsible for it. What type of customer service are you providing to the clients? Not the ideal one in my opinion.

I stayed the first night with my dad, and most of the nurses were amazing. I must say. Although one gave me attitude because I kept asking for a breathing apparatus for my dad. But besides that my overnight stay was very pleasant.

Amazing Staff in G-6. I don’t think it they could be better.
